If you know me well, you know I can't tell a short story. The perfect thing about a blog is that you also get to chose if you'd like to hear about it and if you don't, you won't offend me by not reading!

Like I said in the "about me", people keep saying I should write a book but I don't know where to start so here is the next best idea I had and this blog revolves around the love of my life, Aaron, and our story together. You will get to share our good times, our bad times, and all of our stuff in between!  Starting from the beginning...

If you would have told me that after college I would be moving out of state smack dab in the middle of Polk County, Florida I probably would have said you were crazy! It only took a phone interview, a loan or two from gramma, and a looooong car ride with my food poisoned little cousin to relocate myself about 19 hours south of the the state that is also referred to as the mitten.

I had no idea what was in store, never mind my first year of teaching and THREE hurricanes...the man of my dreams was waiting! There were the little things at first like our identical turquoise Grand Am's parked in the back parking lot (I should mention the embarrassing story when I set of HIS alarm one day not paying attention to which car door I had tried to open), the after school technology trainings we spent hours in, and the sub plans for my class that he conveniently left me a message about but assured me I didn't need to call him back.

He was the music teacher, I was down the hall in first grade. We tried to keep our blossoming relationship on the quiet side but soon enough our closest friends, which were also our co-workers, started to figure our little secret out! We were inseparable to say the least, instant best friends and pretty much love at first sight. It was obviously meant to be and here are the first few fond memories I have of us...

Our first picture...Arabian Knights with the JHW Crew!

The JHW Christmas party where our little secret started becoming not a secret...yes, we were officially  a couple!

 My 25th birthday at Benihana's!

Being tourists at Gatorland!

 A friend's wedding in Florida.

Little did I know...the best was yet to come, this was only the beginning of our journey!
